On the initiative of the Orchestre classique de Montréal, Mozart's Requiem will be presented on May 5 under the direction of Jacques Lacombe, with 170 Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal prepared by Andrew Gray, artistic and musical director, and 4 wonderful soloists from the Atelier lyrique de l'Opéra de Montréal.
To celebrate this exceptional concert, Les Petits Chanteurs du Mont-Royal have put together a colorful preconcert musical reception!
- 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.: Tasting of Viennese culinary surprises prepared by RE Le Traiteur du Fairmont Le Reine Élizabeth. Entertainment, silent auction and music.
- 3:00 p.m.: Concert.
Mozart's Requiem sung by young voices is a daring and unique challenge, offering a fresh perspective on a major work of the choral repertoire.
